Since I'm seeing positive results, I'm wondering if there's a way to maximize them, if there isn't, I don't care, I'll even stop playing the damn thing if it starts to eat too much of my EV in the future.įor now, not only is it generating positive EV it's literally covering me from the pit because when I walk out with 2k in chips after buying in for $300, they can say 'yea well he was hitting a lot of PP payouts all while keeping my spread reasonably low while STILL generating a positive EV.Īgain, I'm willing to accept it's a losing bet, I know it is. It absolutely eats at my EV, but the last 60 hours of play have generated positive EV for me from the side bet alone, not including my EV from counting the shoe. Since I'm doing this for fun, and travelling to other areas so as not to burn my local out too quickly, it's no skin off my nose to put a few dollars on the side bet at my local.
I know side bets aren't beatable, I'm willing to accept that this side bet isn't beatable.
