Years ago, when my children were young, I despised gambling and the toll it took on my marriage, at the time. I get invigorated when I hear cards shuffle or someone yells, “Seven-eleven, baby needs shoes!” And although I do not smoke, I love the casino’s smokey smell and faint mix of cheap liquor and cheaper cologne.
I love the lights, bells, whistles, and smells.
